ReviewCaller calls customers on behalf of businesses to hear about their experience. That means we handle two kinds of personal information: details about the businesses that hire us, and details about the customers they ask us to call. This page explains both.

Information from our clients

When you buy a package or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, Google Business Profile link, and how you prefer to be contacted. We keep a record of what you ordered, what you paid, and how many calls remain.

Payments are handled by Stripe on an account held by The Good Work Club. Your card details go to Stripe directly. We never see or store card numbers.

Information about the customers we call

Our clients give us the names and phone numbers of customers they would like us to call, along with enough context to have a useful conversation, such as the review the customer left and the service they received. We get this information from the client. We do not get phone numbers from Google or from public reviews.

Clients share customer details through a private, access-controlled process. Before any call is made, the client confirms that each person is their customer and that the business is permitted to have us contact them.

During a call we take notes on what the customer tells us: what happened, what kept them from leaving a higher rating, and what might resolve it. Those notes go to the business that asked us to call, and to no one else.

How we make calls

  • Every call is made by a real person. We do not use automated voices or AI calling agents.
  • We say who we are and which business we are calling for.
  • Calls are not recorded. If that ever changes for a particular call, we will ask for consent first.
  • We do not offer payment, discounts or anything else in exchange for changing a review. Whether to update a review is always the customer's decision.
  • If a customer asks us not to call again, we don't, and we tell the business.

How we use information

  • To make the calls our clients have purchased and report back on them.
  • To process orders, send receipts and keep accounting records.
  • To answer questions and provide support.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer contact details for our own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share what a customer tells us with the business that asked us to call them. Beyond that, we use a small number of service providers to run ReviewCaller: Stripe for payments, Cloudflare to host this website and store order records, and FormSubmit to deliver the messages sent through our forms. They handle information only to provide those services to us.

We may disclose information where the law requires it.

This website

This site does not use advertising trackers or advertising cookies. It keeps your order in your browser's local storage until you check out, so your packages are still there if you leave and come back. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs and counts visits with its cookieless analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes. We keep customer contact details and call notes for as long as they are needed to deliver the service to the client, and then delete them or return them to the client on request.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If we called you on behalf of a business and you would like us to remove your details or not call again, tell us and we will take care of it.

To make a request or ask a question about this policy, use our contact form.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
